IBTZ
I SURE DON'T!
My brother will tell you Pride (In the name of love) is not classic U2. The others, yes. I’d listen to U2 and get this lecture back in the day, how they had sold out.
And no, my brother isn’t racist, as Pride is about MLK. He just called himself a music purist!
He still lectures me about this until this day, if we’re somewhere and a U2 song comes on!
oh please, share your favorite Dixie Chicks videos with us too!
I’m pretty sure this was the first song I heard on MTV, by the Who:

A few years on, here is some of the best you will see of The Who. This one will raise the hairs on your neck.

And then if you happen to like the Rolling Stones, this is one of their best performances. Again, hair raising.

Finding videos on Youtube and sticking them on your blog certainly earns you a few hits.
Like winning an “I participated!” trophy.
Clever retort for those who know their MTV history.
LOL!
I have seen the Who a few times, the most recent was in the days following Entwistle’s death. On one tour, Robert Plant (solo) opened. Good stuff.
:^) I’m so old that I remember when MTV played music videos.
You and me both!
