Should the Supreme Court be Moved Out of Washington? (My Title)
6-29-2012 | Myself

Maybe the Supreme Court justices should be sequestered from the rest of Washington, DC. Maybe someplace like Montana or Iowa, where the real people live.

I’d rather sequester congressmen in their states and districts with ankle bracelets. Let them telecommute and hire local people for staffers.

I think my congressman would prefer it. He doesn’t seem to like Washington much.

Yeah!

Matter of fact, i have long advocated bulldozing the so-called white house...no good reason why a true republic should have a national palace inhabited by kings and queens treated like pampered things that they are to say nothing of the the extravagant security measures at great cost to wee the sheeple, etc.

Next question, please...

semper watching!

Put them in Wyoming, and force them to be filmed. Put lots of chairs in there for spectators.

No more aloof hiding from public view. Their powers arent even spelled out in the Constitution, so they need to get off their high bench and be watched much more closely.

Can anyone tell me where Roberts is going to be buried?

I want to start pissing on his grave right away. No reason to wait.

Maybe I should start a business. Send me your urine and I will pour it on Roberts’ grave.

Their powers arent even spelled out in the Constitution

Excellent point! Most of their powers are ones that were seized upon early on.

Things that definitely needs changed:

1. Instituting term limits.
2. Secret discussion and proceedings should be prohibited. Citizens have a right to know.
3. If you are an AMERICAN citizen and TAXPAYER, then you have standing.

It no longer matters... the Republic was dealt a lethal blow yesterday and these black robed tyrants will suffer the same fate that we all will.

I have often daydreamed about being Queen of the Universe, and able to do what I like with a wave of the wand. And, one of the things I think about is rotating where the Congress and Senate meet.

Fargo in January, Phoenix in July, etc.

They might actually have to meet the people that they sentence to labor under the stupid laws they enact.

Right now, I'm thinking of how I might have been able to make sure that the Supreme Court Justices become the first people to have to labor under Obamacare. I am so sick of these people enacting laws that they themselves are exempt from.

Why not just turn it into a live reality show like big brother. They all live in a mansion and film it..they don’t even have to write opinions anymore, just those goofy tv confessional cams.

Its all a joke anyway, might as well go full on IDIOCRACY.

You actually have a very good idea. The justices are
part of a dangerously corrosive social environment that causes all of them to move to the left. Moving the Court to a middle sized, but still reasonably accessible city, like Knoxville, TN, where it would be less subject to liberal social pressures, would be an excellent idea.

There is no reason to have any of our government in the District of Criminals. We have the technology to have the entire congress run as a virtual meeting. One real nice benefit of that is that all activity will be logged. Another is that the critters would have to stay in their district top connect. All legislation could be submitted electronically and made available to the citizens at the same time as the critters.

In order to stop the intellectual in-breeding on the USSC, if I were President, anyone with Ivy League ties would not be nominated. There is plenty of good talent around the rest of the country who has not been corrupted by the thinking of the upper NE wine and cheese legal circles.

It's been done once before: CJ Chase ticked off an early Congress so much they cut-off all funding for the Court's rented chambers.

They had to meet at a coffee house in DC.

Perhaps it's time to revisit that precedent next January-- no clerks, either. Make them research & write their own effin opinions.
