Could this have been a calculated move by SCOTUS Roberts by calling it a TAX he just made Obama a liar!

How can the individual mandate as a tax be challenged when the SCOTUS has already ruled it’s legal?

As a tax and when the tax is actually starting to be collected, from what I understand. In other words, 2014.

John Roberts hung the truth around Obama’s neck. Obamacare is a TAX. ( Regardless what Bark wanted to call it to get it through. )

Now the Republicans can drive that baby home for repeal, as the jobless can’t afford such a tax, and the rest of us will be jobless soon for having to float this boatload of tax. And apparently states can reject it entirely now, without being threatened by Sebelius with her big hammer to withdraw all Medicaid from states who rebel.

In the majority opinion, Roberts states that the job of the court is to find a way to establish “constitutionality” for any challenged legislation.

It is only when this simply can’t be done that a law is declared unconstitutional.

The majority did establish that constitutionality, then, by viewing Obamacare as a “tax” (with all sorts of interesting political ramifications, heh-heh)

But there was no politically strategic motivation on Roberts’ part, IMHO. That said, we are now well-armed going into November’s election. If we come out of that with the White House and both houses of Congress, Obamacare will be wiped out.

How the hell could they ignore the First and Tenth amendment questions?

In a bit over one week SCOTUS has upheld taxation without representation as well as reminded us (twice) that the states lost sovereignty in 1865.

Interesting: Fox just had an "expert" on to tell us that this proved that SCOTUS is not partisan...I guess that, like racism, partisanship only exists on the right.
