Indianapolis, IN... 104 F
Chicago, IL... 102 F
Louisville, KY... 105 F
A weak cold front may bring some relief for the weekend, but it will remain quite hot right on through the Holiday.

Supposed to be 105 in Knoxville on Saturday. Highest recorded temperature on any day in Knoxville is 104.

I would rather be outside then in the prison cell known as a cubicle anyday.

It is 99 degrees F on enclosed front porch now. The inside house feels cool - built in 1899. We have kept the windows closed today. The humidity low which helped.
We keep a kerosene heater for times when the power goes out.
