The Secret Service is becoming Affirmative Action-ized.

The latest purge of talent took place with the sex scandal, which was initiated by a black, female member of the Secret Service.

There may have been some raunchiness creeping into the Service because of lax management by the Obama administration, but I have no doubt the goal was to remove white, Alpha males.

Saw this this morning and was called away so maybe somone’s mentioned it by now and I suspect you may have more info.

For a few presidencies now I recall media mentions (in general terms) of attempts on the life of a president. It seemed to me that numbers increased over the years.

I can't tell if when they said that more attempts had been made on Clinton than any prior president, if it was due to the man in office or changing times.

For Obama there has been very little mention of assassination attempts even though they're to be expected.

Last I heard that for safety purposes he'd stopped announcing destinations until he was ensconced there.

Given this knowledge, plastic cutlery at a gathering of such note is a frightening clue to the reality of such threats.

Absolutely. Especially since, in my experience, it's really easy to insult someone who is looking for an excuse to be insulted, but "Latinos" aren't the only ones.
