There is a saying: It’s the culture stuipid!
It is never about race, but about what culture, the way I see it the “culture” of Indians and Asians is closest to that of the “Greatest Generation” than current american culture is. It is no wonder they are succeeding so well. This is why Jewish and certain Asian cultures prosper so well, it is not because they are “cheating” but because their cultures value hard work and education.
I know of couple of Indian families where there is an overwhelming pressure inthe family for everyone inthe fasmily to get a good education/grades and then go on to get a good money making career like Dentist/Doctor/Banker/Lawyer, etc etc....
You don’t see many Asians, Indians and Americans of Asian/Indian descent getting “Arts and Humanities” degrees so they can slack off in college and booze it up.
Their cultures are very practical when it comes to making sure their children “learn a trade”.
We “Children of the Greatest Generation” have been slacking when it comes to being practical about this sorta thing.
