BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) - Lawyers for one of Jerry Sandusky's adopted sons said the man has told authorities the former Penn State assistant football coach abused him.
The lawyers issued a statement Thursday naming Matt Sandusky, one of Jerry Sandusky's six adopted children, and saying that the 33-year-old had been prepared to testify on behalf of prosecutors at his father's sex abuse trial.
"During the trial, Matt Sandusky contacted us and requested our advice and assistance in arranging a meeting with prosecutors to disclose for the first time in this case that he is a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse," Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici wrote in the statement. "At Matt's request, we immediately arranged a meeting between him and the prosecutors and investigators.
"This has been an extremely painful experience for Matt and he has asked us to convey his request that the media respect his privacy. There will be no further comment."
The statement was issued after jurors in the ex-coach's child sex abuse trial began deliberating 48 charges against him. The jurors are sequestered during deliberations.

I can’t stand to look at him. His front teeth are obviously fake and he is so ugly. His voice is measured and scary.

I suspect they did, but it’s pretty common for kids who have been through this kind of abuse to deny deny deny...part of their coping mechanism. Then all of a sudden something triggers it and they can’t keep it inside any longer. I feel sorry for all of the kids, as I suspect this one is not alone, and in any event they were living under the roof of a monster.
I agree with you, even though we cannot prove it, I can’t believe his wife did not know, or at least suspect. Yet she chose not to say anything. I would not want to live with that kind of guilt.
I think he only lived with Jerry for a year at age 17 and was adopted at age 18.

My husband thinks the prosecution was sitting on this as an ace in the whole if he gets acquitted, They then can arrest him on charges of molesting his son when he was a kid.
You do know that Matt was adopted by js at age 17 and lived with him for about a year and a half. Right?
Do you know anything about Matt’s background or his family’s background? Have you read Ganim’s other stories on Matt? Ron Heichel is his brother and he is in jail for killing Mirinda Boob’s husband. Ron and Matt Heichel weren’t innocent young kids. Anyone in that valley will tell you that.
