Obama Campaign Checks IDs At The Door

CLEVELAND — President Barack Obama's presidential campaign checked the identification of the supporters attending Obama's "framing" event at Cuyahoga Community College today.

The 1,500 supporters in attendance picked up tickets at campaign offices in Northeast Ohio beginning on Monday, though tickets to the event made no mention of an ID requirement.

Jessica Kershaw, the Obama campaign's Ohio Press Secretary, confirmed in a statement to BuzzFeed that the campaign checked every supporter's identification at the door.

"We checked every ID at the door to make sure it matched with the name on the ticket that supporters filled out," she said. "We did this for every person who came in."

The Obama campaign has faced infiltrators from the Romney campaign, which has deployed aides and volunteers to blend in with supporters and attend Obama events.

Republicans point out that while they check IDs for their supporters, the Obama administration opposes efforts to require identification at polling places on election day — so called voter ID laws — arguing they are discriminatory.

Presumably they have a database which gives them the names of everyone who has donated to Republican candidates, but I think that only gives the names of people who contribute $200 or more. They may be able to identify people connected with the Romney campaign or the Republican Party by examining e-mails or by infiltrating the Romney campaign or visiting Romney campaign offices.

At least I'm guessing that the main reason for checking ID's is to keep Republicans out of the event as best they can.

If you listed every interaction with the Nazi Federal government which did not require an ID, it would be a mighty short list. Voting would be one of the most notable exceptions.

Anyone, with a functioning brain, knows for sure that this government is playing games with OUR right to vote. From sub-human NBPP Guerrillas at polling places in Philly to challenging 30+ states attempting to clean up their voter rolls this corrupt to the core Federal government will do everything possible to assure the vote goes in their direction.

The Department of Just-Us headed by, affirmative action example Holder, is showing us all what type of government we will live under when his people are in full control. If it was only one instance that would be understandable but the Just-Us department and our equivalent of the KGB, DHS, has made it clear there is a WAR on any of us who believe in the country as described by the Founders. They are fighting this war on all fronts while we are banking that the ballot box still works. Chicago style politics renders the ballot box mute every time.

This is EXACTLY the point in time Thomas Jefferson was concerned with when the government exceeds the bounds of the US Constitution and the ballot box no longer works.

We had a brief reprieve thanks to REAL Americans (not the hyphenated mumbo-jumbo we have today) in 1946 in Athens TN where they prevented the corrupt government from stealing the election. I just purchased the movie “An American Story” which was a Hallmark made for TV movie about the real event in Athens TN.

These former GIs in Athens are an example of what REAL Americans used to do. They are a shining example of what Thomas Jefferson expected us all to do.
