After reading up on the growing garlic in the south I would say the stiff neck like Spanish Roja or any the the Creoles would be best down there. What area do you garden in? Were you up in Canada?

I am in South/Central East Missouri. About 75 miles south and slightly west of St. Louis. Wide variety in weather. Mild to Cold winters. Light to heavy snows. Rainy spring. Hot dry Summer. Dry to rainy Fall.

If you don’t like the weather today, just stick around - it will change. LOL.

I’ll check out those varieties of garlic. Thanks.
