I wonder what the story is in Epidaurus, Corinth and Mycenae. My single visit took place when the generals and the junta were in charge 40 years ago. Athens was identical to any urban center in the West, except for the Acropolis and the museums. And the day trip by but to the aforementioned places was delightful, once you got past the two hour trip to get beyond the city limits.

I wonder if the upcoming do-over vote really will be rigged, as some insist. Even if the banksters win the situation debt-wise is unsustainable, and their every effort is merely to kick the can down the road long enough to wring their share out of the middle classes before they are inevitably ruined.

Oh, and the latest figures, as of earlier this week, totaled a billion "euros" withdrawn from the banks daily, after a big jump beginning a week ago.

I cruised the Greek Isles a few years ago. Indescribable beauty.

This is a shame.

The guy is wrong. I went to Athens in 2004 and there are quite a few historical sites to see around and even more out of the city.

Well tomorrow is D-Day for Greece. Let’s see which way it goes.
