This month the U.S. federal government has officially endorsed Americas fourth Gay Pride Month in the last dozen years. President Bill Clinton originally declared June Gay Pride Month in June of 2000, and President Barack Obama has continued that tradition ever since June 2009.[1] These declarations foreshadowed his announcement shortly before Mothers Day last month which made him the first President in the history of the United States to executively communicate moral and political support for changing the historical, common law, statutory and biblical definition of marriage to sanction the ability of two men or two women to marry.
But the Wests great political heroes of only a few generations past had starkly different expressions toward homosexuality (sodomy).
Thinking Straight in a Crooked World Only $5.00 In 1919, after Lenin had led the Soviets to slaughter the entire Russian royal family and then set up the Cheka (his own version of the Gestapo) to hunt down all opponents of Marxism, Winston Churchill like many westerners became aghast to hear the news. He told the cabinet that Lenin and Trotsky should be captured and hanged, as the object upon whom justice will be executed, however long it takes, and to make them feel that their punishment will become an important object of British policy.[2]
He told the Dundee electors that the Bolsheviks were reducing Russia to an animal form of barbarism, maintaining themselves by bloody and wholesale butcheries and murders carried out to large extent by Chinese executions and armored cars. . . . Civilization is being completely extinguished[.]
But perhaps Churchills most telling words were communicated to Lloyd George. Churchill wrote: You might as well legalize sodomy as recognize the Bolsheviks.[3]

A real conservative would rename June to “Remember God’s judgement on Sodomy” month.
Too bad the only conservative running is in a third party.
Actually, the Gestapo was Hitler's own version of the Cheka, since it came first.
Don’t talk to me about naval tradition. It’s nothing but rum, sodomy and the lash.
— Winston Churchill
So if Obama implemented this in America, what would it look like?
What would they do? Target Fundamentalist Christians and veterans?
oh
Mr. Churchill, may I present the Supreme Court:
Lawrence v. Texas, 539 U.S. 558 (2003) is a landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court. In the 6-3 ruling, the Court struck down the sodomy law in Texas and, by extension, invalidated sodomy laws in thirteen other states, making same-sex sexual activity legal in every U.S. state and territory.
The court overturned its previous ruling on the same issue in the 1986 case Bowers v. Hardwick, where it upheld a challenged Georgia statute and did not find a constitutional protection of sexual privacy.
As to the subject at hand, the Earl had THIS to say - though no doubt he was joking.
A 1924 entry in Evelyn Waughs diary states that an English High Court judge presiding in a sodomy case sought advice on sentencing from Lord Birkenhead. “Could you tell me,” he asked, “what do you think one ought to give a man who allows himself to be buggered?” Birkenhead replied without hesitation, “Oh, thirty shillings or two pounds; whatever you happen to have on you.”
1. I don’t think Obama has any such goal.
2. I don’t believe he’d be allowed to do so.
Lenin took power at the end of four bloody and totally disruptive years of war. Their society had completely collapsed.
We’re still a LONG way from that scenario.
Well, I can say the Mr. Churchill used his time preparing impromptu remarks to good effect...
Øbama and the barbarians on the other end of his BlackBerry have as a goal the destruction of Western Civilization, most of us dead, the rest of us in chains.
I don't know. I think he might if he could.
He has shown willingness to make up and implement his own laws outside of Congress using regulatory agencies to do so.
His actions are clearly trending towards implementing socialism and communism, from his "redistributing wealth" comments, to his takeover of GM, and forcing of Obamacare down our throats.
So many of his statements and actions can be seen as almost straight out of communist and Alinsky playbooks, but it just hasn't has the impact he had hoped. The occupy movement was laughable. Too many of his actions generate push back.
2. I dont believe hed be allowed to do so.
So far the checks and balances have bent but seem to be holding.
I agree we are a long way from a Lenin type takeover, but we are on a more slippery slope than we've ever been.
Indeed he was famous for it! He spent a lot of time in bed, answering letters, talking on the phone, etc. He said the secret of his success was “conservation of energy” and he freely admitted that many of his “impromptu” remarks were thought up beforehand and hoarded until the correct moment to set them loose to maximum effect!
This is one of my favorite quotes from him, an indication of a first rate mind despite his lack of formal education, and a proof still in popular use against metaphysical thinking as well as being funny...
From My Early Life (1930) Here is Churchills brilliant analysis:
Some of my cousins who had the great advantage of University
education used to tease me with arguments to prove that nothing has
any existence except what we think of it. The whole creation is but a
dream; all phenomena are imaginary. You create your own universe
as you go along. The stronger your imagination, the more variegated
your universe. When you leave off dreaming, the universe ceases to
exist. These amusing mental acrobatics are all right to play with.
They are perfectly harmless and perfectly useless. I warn my younger
readers only to treat them as a game. The metaphysicians will have
the last word and defy you to disprove their absurd propositions.
I always rested upon the following argument which I devised
for myself many years ago. We look up in the sky and see the sun.
Our eyes are dazzled and our senses record the fact. So here is this
great sun standing apparently on no better foundation than our
physical senses. But happily there is a method, apart altogether from
our physical senses, of testing the reality of the sun. It is by
mathematics. By means of prolonged processes of mathematics,
entirely separate from the senses, astronomers are able to calculate
when an eclipse will occur. They predict by pure reason that a black
spot will pass across the sun on a certain day. You go and look, and
your sense of sight immediately tells you that their calculations are
vindicated. So here you have the evidence of the senses reinforced by
the entirely separate evidence of a vast independent process of
mathematical reasoning. We have taken what is called in military
map-making a cross bearing. We have got independent testimony
to the reality of the sun. When my metaphysical friends tell me that
the data on which the astronomers made their calculations, were
necessarily obtained originally through the evidence of the senses, I
say, No. They might, in theory at any rate be obtained by automatic
calculating-machines set in motion by the light falling upon them
without admixture of the human senses at any stage. When it is
persisted that we should have to be told about the calculations and
use our ears for that purpose, I reply that the mathematical process has
a reality and virtue in itself, and that once discovered it constitutes a
new and independent fact. And I am also at this point accustomed to
reaffirm with emphasis my conviction that the sun is real, and also
that it is hotin fact as hot as Hell, and that if the metaphysicians
doubt it they should go there and see.
