The band kids are really great, they were in middle and high school so I’d expect the same for college. One of her friends from high school, his first year (he’ll be a jr. this year) was able to march in the Championship game his first year and another friend that went to the “other” school was able to march in the Championship game this past year.
I still haven’t got quite use to saying War Eagle at all the meetings and such . . . but I’m sure I’ll get there soon enough.
Think of War Eagle like aloha. It is a greeting, an identifier and an expression of much emotion.
That is so cool about the friend playing in Arizona. I didn’t get to play in a national championship, but was in the band on December 2, 1972. That was just as good. I’d rather beat that team than win the national championship. Really.
