This is a situation I've been following for some time, because there are representative democracy and free speech issues. In the latest chapter, the people got together and "threw the bums out". Whereupon the incumbents announced they wouldn't accept the results of the election because the people's candidates didn't meet the incumbent's standards. "Yeah, we know you voted us out, but we're not leaving".

Are there lamp-posts in Quartzite, AZ? Just two or three would be required.
I ask that all citizens remain calm and engage in respectful discourse while the review process occurs.
Sorry, Sam. I don't have to 'engage in respectful discourse' with those I don't have any respect for.

There’s “crazy”, and then there’s “Arizona crazy”, which is something else entirely. Some blame it on the heat, others on the brujos that lived there a thousand years ago, and probably still do, with their pet monsters.
And for a while now, Quartzite has been mining a rich vein of “Arizona crazy”.
