The La Paz County Attorneys Office is reviewing the actions of the Quartzsite Town Council at their June 4, special meeting. At that meeting, the council approved the canvas of the May 15 general election. So when does the community turn out with tar & feathers?
What a C.F..
I ask that all citizens remain calm and engage in respectful discourse while the review process occurs.
Sorry, Sam. I don't have to 'engage in respectful discourse' with those I don't have any respect for.

The amazing thing is this has been going on for years. My first introduction was this clip of a citizen being dragged out of the Council chambers for making a comment the Council didn’t agree with.

The Council subsequently began denying the public any opportunity to address it.
Yep, time for tar & feathers.
We have a local city councilman who has a Cuban flag decal on his city-provided laptop. He sits with it showing out to the audience. When they do the pledge, he turns his back on the flag. He should be thrown off the council for violating his oath of office.
Our commissioners have people sign in to make comments at public meetings. Then they don’t even bother to have the list brought to them. They terminate their meetings & say they’ll speak to individuals afterwards.
And the numbskulls (read Democrats) in this town continue to vote them in. Pretty demoralizing...
There’s “crazy”, and then there’s “Arizona crazy”, which is something else entirely. Some blame it on the heat, others on the brujos that lived there a thousand years ago, and probably still do, with their pet monsters.
And for a while now, Quartzite has been mining a rich vein of “Arizona crazy”.
