Most amazing falsetto voice I’ve ever heard. I wonder how much else he has in his repertoire. Amazing as his voice is the fact that he is self-taught. I don't think anyone has done that before with such results. Also singular were his pale eyes which, surrounded by eye shadow, glowed like bright marbles. Altogether a very unusual young fellow.

IIRC, the ‘eyes like marbles’ effect is due to contacts some of the Goths wear for effect. His lack of visible piercings was refreshing.

This is my favorite show during the summer. I like the variety, Idol is too long and boring. This kid sure surprised me when he started to sing, I think his family was just as surprised.
