Who the Hell is Bill Press? I've never heard of the SOB. Sure, the National Anthem is warlike - We've won and retained our freedoms through success at war, not through sensitivity training.

I love the National Anthem, particularly the fourth verse.

Bill Press, you can take your anti-American venom out of here, and on the way out you can kiss my Royal Irish @$$!

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Who really cares if it’s “hard to sing”???? It doesn’t matter at all WHAT it sounds like...All that matters is the MEANING of the words......What it means is much, much, more important than if you can sing it “purty”

Conor, he's an ultra-liberal radio talk show host. No clue where he is now (and I'm not going to look him up because I wouldn't give him the clicks), but some years ago he had a talk show on KFI in Los Angeles. To say he was unlistenable was an understatement. His show didn't last too long -- it was a complete failure and cancelled for lack of ratings. IIRC he tucked his tail between his legs and hightailed it back for the east coast.
