You dont think Nazi UFO Conspiracy is real history? Im shocked.
HaHaHa
What really drives me crazy is the vacuous "Ancient Aliens" series and its "expert", the guy with the Greek name and the wild, Don King hair.
Its a toss up to either change the channel or run for the hair clippers...

... losing Yamaguchi via his going down with the ship, was a MAJOR mistake.
Yep.
A major flaw in following the code of Bushido.
The individual saves face but society loses an experienced tactician that cannot pass on his first person knowledge to others.

United Nations was often used to denote the Allied Forces in WWII dispatches.

The Military Channel isn’t any better. They have been running D-Day stuff and completely ignored Midway.

That's a shame. But at least it's history and not faux reality packaged as history. I considered putting The Military Channel on my cable list but they "bungle" it with a bunch of crap I'm not interested in.
As a whole I dislike PBS but when they do historical documentaries they do them well. It even did a piece on life under Stalin (shock!!!)

Every time the Nazis conquered a nation, among their primary tasks was to use whatever tools they could - making locals turn in personal property like furniture and toys
Aside from enriching(so called "positive" reward) the Nazi's supporters it also had the "negative reward" effects. It said to the German populace "Support the Nazis and we will help you. Go against us and we will take everything you have.(especially your life)
A man may be willing to sacrifice his life if it will secure his family's well being.
But if he knows absolutely his actions will cost his family everything he will be heistant to act.
This may have help keep the lukewarm anti-Hitlerite mass on the sideline.

But...but....according to Deb Schlussel it was the Poles that were running all of these death camps.
