Hard to conceive what it would be like to have to go through a fire storm. I was watching one of those History channel shows and the RAF Bomber Command pilots talked about how they could smell charred humans brought up by the updrafts from the storm.

I hadn’t planned to add today’s headline to the string of significant dates on my profile, but when I posted it this morning I was struck by the similarity to another headline from almost two years ago. Take a look at the headline for August 16, 1940 . If that one was significant then today’s must be also.
