A propos of nothing, my kitty's way of telling me the litter box no longer meets her standards is to crap in the bathtub next to the box.
Pets with opposing thumbs are expected to clean their own messes. Seeing as I'm still single, could be my standards are too high. :op

One of mine will occasionally leave a little gift next to the litter box too - even after I’ve just cleaned it. My working hypothesis is that she’s just plain evil.

My two wait and lurk as I clean the litter box. They race to see who will be the first to use it. If I’m feeling generous, I’ll clean it again for the loser so they both get to be “the first”......yeah, I have no life *sigh*
