Maybe he was a 'good kid' when he wasn't whacked out on whatever he was taking, or before whatever happened to him that sent him on that rampage. Sadly for him and his victim, the 'good kid' stops when you are chewing someone's face off.

If it was drugs (most likely), maybe the mom should be campaigning against that particular substance.

No doubt his mom is horrified, too. No one raises their kid to go chew people's faces off.

It's pretty crappy all around.

He was probably Haitian, and Haitians really do believe in zombies, and they believe that people can be turned into zombies by witchcraft. This is what his girlfriend said:

It wasn’t him, that was his body but it wasn’t his spirit. Somebody did this to him,” WFOR quotes her as saying.

The police, however, seem to think it was bath salts, which apparently is all the rage among druggies now and does cause hallucinations and violent reactions.
