After tonight's 4-0 whitewashing, Jonathan Quick certainly has my vote for MVP.
The Kings certainly appear quite capable of sweeping the Devils.

I watched it on DVR. The Kings are rolling. There aren’t many hockey fans in SoCal so I hope they’re taking this team to heart. There was a story about the players getting recognized out in public which is something new for them. Angelinos are finding out the Stanley Cup is really really cool.

Hate to say this, but this would have been a more competitive series if it was Kings against the Rangers. I think this series demonstrates that the Rangers, with Dubinsky back in the lineup should have played a more open game against the Devils.

Predators fan here. I called it for the Kings about a month ago. Even Will Ferrell said they should take it in 5.

Kings in 5 looks like the right call. Too bad for the LA fans that they couldn’t celebrate a sweep for the cup at home.
I was glad NJ won so they wouldn’t be swept. I don’t want hockey to be over yet, even though I have no doubt the Kings will take the Cup.
These Devils are making it interesting, aren't they? They can still play loose because nobody thought it would be 3-2 after the Kings went up 3-0, and I think the Kings are going to be under tremendous pressure back home for Game 6 tomorrow night.

Five minute major was the right call. NHL officiating stinks in general and in this series but kudos for getting this one right.
3-0 Kings should be enough. I don’t foresee Quick faltering now.

The Devils only have five shots on goal. At this point, they need to generate some offense before they would even consider replacing Martin Brodeur.
Of course, if the Devils keep self-destructing with these penalties, it won't make a difference who is in the nets for them.
