Sorry if I sounded snippy, but it is ridiculous to try to tell me cancer is a recent thing when I know genetics and know that somatic mutations are inevitable.
Egyptian mummies had cancer.
Wild animals get cancer. No mater how pristine their environment.
No form of molecular inheritance will be immune from molecular change.
