Catholic Priest Says A Schoolgirl Who Went Missing In 1983 Was Kidnapped For Vatican Sex Parties

The Catholic Church's leading exorcist priest asserts that a Vatican employee's daughter thought to be buried in a mob boss's tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties, reports Nick Pisa of the Daily Mail.

Father Gabriel Amorth, who was ordained in 1954 and has carried out more than 70,000 exorcisms, made the claim to Italian newspaper La Stampa as police examine the contents of mobster Enrico De Pedis's tomb for clues about the 1983 disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi.

Father Amorth, 85, noted that an archivist at the Vatican previously admitted to recruiting girls for parties and told La Stampa newspaper the he believes that Orlandi "ended up in this circle" and that the "case of sexual exploitation" led to her murder followed by "the hiding of her body," according to the Daily Mail.

Father Amorth also said that "diplomatic staff from a foreign embassy to the Holy See" were also involved.

Exorcists are always at extreme risk of having the evil spirt transfer to them.

It is not an amateur endeavor.

My idea, exactly. If he's counting demons instead of people, the math works a little better (not to mention being harder to prove/disprove).

Remember in the Bible, the man who was possessed by demons calling themselves Legion. In Biblical times, a Roman legion numbered about 5,000, so he would only need to exorcise demons from 14 similarly afflicted people to make his number.

So, in your world there are no demons or true exorcists? Nice.

(Father Amorth has written several books on the matter. There are many witnesses to God’s works through Father Amorth.)

An Interview with Fr. Gabriele Amorth-
The Church’s Leading Exorcist

He is one of the ‘good guys’ in the Catholic Church.

He does a great service for his fellow Catholics,
and he deserves Catholic gratitude for his work.

Monsignor

“It has already previously been stated by (deceased) monsignor Simeone Duca, an archivist at the Vatican, who was asked to recruit girls for parties with the help of the Vatican gendarmes.”

If a village or group of people were “exorcised”, he could count everyone present and “an exorcism”, couldn’t he?

This guy was a specialist. His job was exorcisms, and people were brought from all over to him in Rome. Given that it was his full-time job, allowing an hour for a typical one, 4 a day is about what you’d expect.

Plenty of 85-year old doctors have seen way more than 70,000 patients.

According to the news account, a grave was examined in the vatican and bones (the missing girl’s?) were found that did not belong in that grave.

Forensic examination will provide an answer to some of these significant questions.

The Daily Mail story is just as poorly written, but it’s possible to tease out some facts.

——”Detectives investigating the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, 15, in 1983, believe De Pedis (an Italian mobster) is linked to her kidnap and the body of the Vatican employee’s daughter has never been found...”-—

Here is the alleged tie to clergy:

-—...In 2008 Sabrina Minardi, De Pedis girlfriend at the time of Orlandi’s disappearance, sensationally claimed that now dead American monsignor Paul Marcinkus, the controversial chief of the Vatican bank, was behind the kidnap.-—

IOW, the girlfriend of the accused, dead mobster, blames a dead priest, previously associated with financial crimes, for the murder.

That’s it.

If it were a confession of what he had done, I would expect him to confess his role.

He appears to be confessing having knowledge of the atrocity, not engaging in it.

Is the girl’s kidnapping a fact or a rumor?

Is her sexual exploitation a fact or a rumor?

Is her murder a fact or a rumor?

——“It has already previously been stated by (deceased) monsignor Simeone Duca, an archivist at the Vatican, who was asked to recruit girls for parties with the help of the Vatican gendarmes.”——

So the archivist was a priest. But what “has already been previously stated by him”? My best guess from reading this awkward sentence is that Vatican police asked the priest to recruit girls for parties with them.

“Recruited for parties” could mean anything from the annual Christmas party to orgies with cops. Regardless, from this sentence alone, there is no tie to clergy, unless the priest participated in the recruiting —a question left unanswered by this report.

Yup...
Hypocrisy is like that
I see it everywhere, especially in myself

But there is plenty of command failure on this site too
“Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself”
is not just a helpful suggestion

It is the Second Great Command

I would suggest finding ways to mend the Body of Christ
But this is "above my Pay Prade"
