The Catholic Church's leading exorcist priest asserts that a Vatican employee's daughter thought to be buried in a mob boss's tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties, reports Nick Pisa of the Daily Mail.
Father Gabriel Amorth, who was ordained in 1954 and has carried out more than 70,000 exorcisms, made the claim to Italian newspaper La Stampa as police examine the contents of mobster Enrico De Pedis's tomb for clues about the 1983 disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi.
Father Amorth, 85, noted that an archivist at the Vatican previously admitted to recruiting girls for parties and told La Stampa newspaper the he believes that Orlandi "ended up in this circle" and that the "case of sexual exploitation" led to her murder followed by "the hiding of her body," according to the Daily Mail.
Father Amorth also said that "diplomatic staff from a foreign embassy to the Holy See" were also involved.

OH THE IRONY!!!
Hey libertarian wacko, are you smart enough to see the irony in this statement?
NOPE!
A person who sexually exploits a minor shows he (or she) does not fear God by his (her) actions.
The person who condemns such actions, regardless of political leanings, shows a greater fear of God than the perpetrator possesses.
You have no evidence, just bald assertions.
Libertarians are scum.
If this priest was ordained in 1954 let’s assume that he began doing exorcisms no earlier than 1962. That’s 50 years of exorcising. In that time he has performed over 70,000 exorcisms? That’s 1400 exorcisms a year or 3.84 exorcisms a day including weekends. This is such a preposterous assertion that it renders the rest of the article incredible.
Ironic?
Assertions are not evidence. That poster asserted that the priest lied without evidence.
We have testimony from a Catholic priest that sexual exploitation of minors occurred. God-fearing people loudly condemn such activity, and do not defend it or harbor people who practice it.
I find it concerning that you have more objections to whom shone the light than whom was cowering in the darkness with their victims, forgetting they claimed to serve an omniscient and omnipresent God who exposes all sin.
He may be counting waving his hand over someones head. I agree no way the full process. You click the clink near the start of the story and it goes to the Daily Mail article. Much more information.
He may be crazy or whatever but that does not mean he’s incorrect on this matter. He became ordained in 1954. That puts the events right in the middle of his career. For all we know this might be a confession.
“Libertarians are scum.” - J5
Listen carefully dipstick - Libertarians did not do this evil nor would they. Kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder are not consistent with libertarian principles.
Genius.

He also may be counting prayer for groups, and praying that those suffering from demon possession may be exorcised.
However he is counting the numbers, I doubt all the counts come from one-on-one full exorcisms.
Except that the source publication tends to lean way right, and, in order for your theory to work, an elderly priest would have to be in cahoots with the Obama administration.
That’s really a stretch.
Thank you for reminding the forum that you are more bothered by people whose political leanings are different from yours than you are bothered by people who sexually exploit minors.
the original article.
Just because one statement seems wrong (to me as well) does not mean they all are. Just as i won’t grant a blanket acceptance i will also not blankly condemn every assertion. All we know is he’s had difficulty sounding sane in his later years. The events may be from memory.
Get off your high horse noob, you yourself are painting with a pretty broad brush.
The Catholic Church’s leading exorcist priest has sensationally claimed a missing schoolgirl thought to be buried in a murdered gangster’s tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties.
Father Gabriel Amorth, 85, who has carried out 70,000 exorcisms, spoke out as investigators continued to examine mobster Enrico De Pedis’s tomb in their hunt for Emanuela Orlandi.
Last week police and forensic experts broke into the grave after an anonymous phone call to a TV show said the truth about Emanuela’s 1983 disappearance would be ‘found there’.
And although bones not belonging to the mobster were recovered they have not yet been positively identified as hers.
However Father Amorth, in an interview with La Stampa newspaper, said: ‘This was a crime with a sexual motive.
‘It has already previously been stated by (deceased) monsignor Simeone Duca, an archivist at the Vatican, who was asked to recruit girls for parties with the help of the Vatican gendarmes.
‘I believe Emanuela ended up in this circle. I have never believed in the international theory (overseas kidnappers). I have motives to believe that this was just a case of sexual exploitation.
‘It led to the murder and then the hiding of her body. Also involved are diplomatic staff from a foreign embassy to the Holy See.’
Today there was no immediate response from the Vatican to Father Amorth’s claims.
But Vatican officials insisted they had always co-operated with the investigation into Orlandi’s disappearance - a claim that her brother has often disputed.
