The Catholic Church's leading exorcist priest asserts that a Vatican employee's daughter thought to be buried in a mob boss's tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties, reports Nick Pisa of the Daily Mail.
Father Gabriel Amorth, who was ordained in 1954 and has carried out more than 70,000 exorcisms, made the claim to Italian newspaper La Stampa as police examine the contents of mobster Enrico De Pedis's tomb for clues about the 1983 disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi.
Father Amorth, 85, noted that an archivist at the Vatican previously admitted to recruiting girls for parties and told La Stampa newspaper the he believes that Orlandi "ended up in this circle" and that the "case of sexual exploitation" led to her murder followed by "the hiding of her body," according to the Daily Mail.
Father Amorth also said that "diplomatic staff from a foreign embassy to the Holy See" were also involved.

Libertarians are scum. Just sayin.
Anyone who kidnaps a minor and forces him or her to work in the sex “trade” is wicked.
The Catholic Church is a hot mess.
And I thought priests were only interested in boys?
As a Catholic i have to just pray its not true.
Let’s see.
Yesterday the news was that several Catholic organizations are suing the feds for infringement of their Civil Rights.
Today this story comes out.
I question the timing.
Good point.
I condemn sexual exploitation of minors, by by any person or group.
Don’t sexually exploit children or teenagers and you never have to worry about it “coming to light” at “inconvenient” times.
Oh I agree, but libertarians are still worthless pieces of garbage and scum, who like to paint with broad brushes due to their ingrained atheism, hatred of ordered liberty and hedonistic desires.
Libertarians are filth. Moreover, the libertarian party platform promotes the perversion from the blog that you cite as authoritative.
Which is more important: getting justice for the victims or not releasing news of crimes committed when it is “inconvenient timing” for the perpetrating individual or group?
Major problem here. 70,000 exorcisms? Do the math. That is impossible, no matter how long he has been a priest. If he’s lying about that, how credible is his new story?
Libertarian hedonists hate God, the church and ordered liberty. They don’t care about the truth of the story. Bald assertions in blogs are enough, because it promotes the agenda.
The victim is not a libertarian. The Catholic church is not a libertarian organization.
I find it concerning that your posted reaction pegs you as being more concerned about the political leanings of the author of the piece than you are about sexual exploitation of minors.
Every single person now living has lied at one point of their lives or another. If the criteria for not testifying about the sexual exploitation or murder of another was “if you have lied in your past, we cannot trust your testimony”, no one could be a reliable witness.
If you have evidence that he has lied about what happened to the girl, post it.
But you don’t have evidence of him lying in the first place, only assertions of lying.
The source for this article has been a priest for 58 years...and performed 70,000 exorcisms?
Assuming he worked at it 6 days a week, he would have had to perform 4 exorcisms a day, solid, for 58 years!
When the little things don’t seem believable, I question the big things.
Are you a libertarian?
Wait, we both know the answer to that.
Frankly, I care what you think is “concerning.” The fact is, you have a bald assertion from a dubious source that was reprinted in a blog. You desperately want this to be true, and you pretend to take the high ground, when in reality you just want to trash the church.
Libertarians are scum.
Mmmm, (book: The Final Conclave) assassination by poison of Pope John Paul 1 while inside the Vatican and now this?
