Republican strategist Karl Rove said Friday he believes North Carolina and Indiana are gone for President Barack Obama in November and that Wisconsin has become a battleground state.
I think North Carolina is gone just like Indiana is gone. Obama has no chance to win them, Rove told Fox News host Bill OReilly. I think Ohio and Florida are leaning today towards Romney. I think places like Iowa and Colorado are in danger of floating into the Republican column. And states like Nevada and Pennsylvania are moving from lean Democrat into toss-up category. And on June 5th, mark my words, we will have more poll data than we got today that is going to show that Wisconsins a battleground state.
Our voters are about as accomplished as our sports teams.
Didn't even vote for Reagan.
I'm afraid the land of Stuart Smalley and Jesse "The Body" is a hopeless cause.
I guess since we hate Willard so much KR thinks we won't show up for him—plus SC was one of the few states that went with Newt and Newt people despise Romney the most.
I submit, however, that we are so scared merdeless of the queer Marxist getting another four that we will give even Mitt a landslide win.
Keep your eyes on the numbers with the registered voters ~ and check how many get excluded because they had answers/responses that didn't fit the paradigm ~
This has nothing whatsoever to do with the Senate and the House ~ they've been delinked and uncoupled ever since the other candidates decided to quit running with Romney in the race. It's all statistical methodology, and the guys doing the polls are finding it difficult to tell us what's happening ~ because it hasn't happened before.
Just remember that 4 years ago Romney ended up in the 20% range against McCain ~ and that's where he started out this year ~ anything much over that reflects the Mormon factor or election fraud in Virginia.
The guy has 20% of the Republican base behind him. That's not enough to run a campaign on to say nothing of winning.
On the other hand Obama has been below 50% for quite some time and is expected to do nothing but drop lower ~ internal polling by the Democrats may already show some 30% states creeping into the stats ~ and that's just his own peeps with no Republicans in the mix.
It is conceivable that both these guys could end up with about 20% of the possible vote ~ or, a grand total of less than 50% of all the votes.
You can't claim a Mandate of Heaven on that basis.
We can avoid all of this if Romney will simply step aside and let ANYBODY ELSE in the race,.
Don't apologize. I should apologize. I live in the state the brought us Barbara Boxer. Sigh . . .
That's a pretty good buffer when it comes to political "shame."
>> Why discourage enthusiasm because you dont lke the guy? <<
Because for some people, hatred is just plain ole FUN!
This is what I’ve been saying all along. Go down the list of states where Obama won in 2008 and the vote was at all close and they are all going to go against him.
This November will see a GOP landslide almost everywhere.

“Because for some people, hatred is just plain ole FUN!”
Well, yeah, I reckon there is that...I just don’t see why the hell anyone would be helping the other side as “fun.”
Sounds like pulling wings off of flies territory to me, except the Marxist in Chief in the WH for four more very long years (not to mention the SCOTUS appointments that will curse us for decades) will likely kill off enough of us that we never come back. Just too GD serious to be horseshitting around.
What I think Obama has done, is convince a whole bunch of traditionally-Dem white union households that the Dem Party has become the party of blacks and gays, and that they would be nuts to continue to support it.
“Are you aware that electoral data are generally dynamic, not static and things can change?”
Then that explanation makes Rove sound even more inept. If he’s such a statistical electoral analyst - which he prides himself and sells himself to be - then he’s even more ridiculous to go on the record and utter any such proclamations to begin with. If the numbers are that malleable and flexible as you claim (which I don’t necessarily agree with), then if Rove doesn’t know that he’s an idiot. If he does know that and goes on the air and blabbers on about what an election result will bring today, which was different from he claimed yesterday it would bring (giving his profession all the certainty of a long range weather forecast) then it makes my point even more lucidly. Why should anyone listen to a single word he says? If today’s info is no more accurate a barometer of assessing what will happen tomorrow - why utter it, other than for reasons of pure vanity? How does it help his reputation by doing so if all of this is in the flux state you claim??? He’s a buffoon - but if what you say is true, then he’s a buffoon to an exponential power.

Exactly!!!!!
I agree that Romney will win big and that gay marriage will hurt the 'Rats.
But I don't think it will be the final nail.
Obama is a lousy President and a lousy campaigner. He is getting ever more desperate and is making ever more mistakes. As we get closer to November and the 'Rats see their power slipping away, they are going to pull some wild stuff that will really sink them.
I think all the passions are there for what you say to become reality.
If GOP & Independent turnout is massive, it will happen.
Obama’s polling among Independents is horrible. They need to get out and vote.
How does Rove enjoy a reputation as such a “seer?”
He insisted throughout Bush’s two terms that amnesty was a winner. He dedicated himself to ramming it through.
He has a tin ear for both what the people of this nation want, and what’s good for this nation.
Oh, and Karl? Amnesty didn’t pass. Despite your best efforts.
What is your skill set, exactly?
You know. Don’t be coy.
See what I'm saying?
Romney will not step aside. (Why would he?) And there is nobody else available to conservatives this year. (Who would it be?)
Your problem be, you aint been bubblin and glistenin on em. YOU GOT TO BE BOVINE BUBBLIN! You got to be bovine bubbling and glistening on em till you be doublin platinum. Platinum be doubling on cadmium. Platinum be bubblin and glistenin on em. Youe problem be, you aint been pushin no Bentlys like Steve Forbes be pushin. You pushing Mercedes. Pat Buchanan be pushin Mercedes, and he bubblin and glistenin on em. He doublin platinum by bubblin and glistenin on em. He doublin platinum by pushin Mercedes. Steve Forbes aint doubling platinum, he pushing Bentlys on em.
Romney needs say nothing more about gay marriage.
He should just talk economic growth and national security and let the gays talk about their gay gayness.
