I doubt that crowd will show up here and make their knee-jerk threats to kill any cops who would do this to their dog.

I could be wrong, though. Some of the remarks on these cop shoots dog threads are insane.

Good shoot, but I think I would have done it faster, no tazer just put it down.

Yes, people get upset with most of the cop shoots dog stories because they are not like this one. I feel that the cops should be held to the same standard as any other citizen. If this happened I think you would have less police shoots dog stories that upset so many here. To many police get away with questionable killings and many citizens are coming to realize this. The police need to realize that with the internet and 24 hour cable news they are being watched more closely.
