Hate to see anyone, even the source, take on perfection.
"Blade Runner" is one of those special movies, to me, that totally transports me to that world. It is one of the most perfect movies I have seen. True dystopian/cyber-punk perfection.
Interestingly, although I like its sequel "Aliens" better, I think "Alien" is very nearly as good.
Scott should find some new project to work on, not rehash old ground.

Of course, in a real dystopian world, far from kicking ass, women will be traded around like poker chips - the lucky ones, that is.

I believe Blade Runner has been rated by a couple different groups as the best sci-fi flick of all time.
