The wind bag/ Archie Bunker right!

We have a real problem with the conservative side being represented at too often as a characture of what a real loving and honest conservative is, often by talk show hosts. I won't name names, but when we come off like an Archie Bunker, hardened type, it actually does our side a lot of harm!

When I hear one talk show host claiming that it is the women taking over positions of power and that they cannot make sound decisions, latter changing the facts and saying now only liberal women; yet not including the fact that mans misuse of women is the real fault. Or saying that liberal blacks need to go back to the plantation to get a work ethic back; stirring a lot of emotions, but not with truth but rather hyperbole. Or when another goes on and on, irritated at Obama, just ranting and speaking very little about the greatness of the conservative cause and how so many good things come of lower tax burdens and how people themselves help each other when they have more of their OWN money. Ronald Reagan had the same insights, but he articulated the brightness of the right more, as well as the deceptions that the left were under too. Any unbalanced approach is not good and is happening so much in conservative talk radio land.

So I am not writing this to get down or judge our side, but honestly, all the right ideas without the love is not helping us a whole lot. And we have a real battle here for our nation, with our entire government throughout or country being infiltrated by mostly well meaning, but evil possessed socialist leaders and bureaucrats. It will probably come to arms once again, but in the meantime, let us have fun, be bold and love like Reagan did. I feel he did show a lot of love. There were many very touching scenes, when the late and great Carrol O'Conner's brilliant acting would move the audience to tears.

You were made to understand that Archie's gruff exterior was only a front, and that he had a heart as big as the great outdoors.

I will never forget the scene in All in The Family with the draft dodger, when Archie found out that Mike’s friend had just returned from Canada, where he had fled the draft.

Archie’s reaction was angry and heartfelt. A very powerful scene.

He insults all conservatives as Archie Bunker. He tries to paint conservatives as intellectually incurious and loud mouthed. He takes us to task when any rational person would see the frothy mouthed rantings of Debbie Was-a-Man-Schultz, Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean, just to name a few.

Yet he cited NO ONE in his post, painting all conservative pundits as haters!

Well, I see that is where you and many others blow it. Many leftists do indeed have a well meaning agenda to equalize and help people. The problem we all know is that is is the wrong way to help. Obama is one such brainwashed leader and to see him as just trash or an overtly evil man is really making it harder to not resent him and stand up boldly to him and his type.

Now of course there are the overtly evil , people controlling types like Soros who live off of others being controlled. However, most are socialist mind controlled dupes.

Yep, most people get their impression of Archie from watching a few clips....those of us who watched the entire series know that Archie was a very complex character. Caroll O’Connor was a helluva actor.

I wrote that this happens all too often, and it does. A caricature, thanks for the spelling, is an exxagetted and inaccurate example of a type of person, no?
This is what I see being done at times...by Rush when he rants on and on about the left, sort of hyper. Not like the old happy Rush when he began years ago. Or when Hannity goes on and no and on , so irritated, which reflects in his tone, about Obama..with so little spoken about the real examples daily of how lower taxes has helped so many people to grow businesses and such. And Jesse Lee Peterson, who is a small talk show many probably do not know of, goes on air and tells people that women taking over positions of power are a big reason for our downfall...latter changing it to only liberal women...no mention of the men who opened those doors to them! And how blacks many blacks should go back on the plantations to learn a work ethic. I am not making that up!
I love Walter Williams and and how Reagan expressed our ideas. real grace as well as strength there. Roy Masters has that too in late night radio. This is missing in many good shows and is the point of my post.

No, but he is a good example of what I am talking about. Hannity can be at times too, with his monotonous diatribes. Micheal Savage also....I no longer listen to Micheal as he goes nuts too much.

I think giving tyrants any motives but evil just makes us willing pawns in their game. When you see men like Obama suggest policies that have been tried again and again and failed every time, you certainly have to suspect he has no intention of helping others. Why else does his Aunt live in a slum and his brother live in Kenya in a mud hut. That shows no true compassion. It's easy to be generous with the wealth of others to increase your popularity, that shows only a hunger for power and a wish to enslave others.

It's a matter of world view. I'm a devout Christian, the good book makes it clear that God stands on the side of Liberty and the Devil on the side of Tyranny. If you don't think their is a force behind the evil in this nation and others, read the tenth Chapter of Daniel. "Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty." II Corinthians 3:17.

Every great dictator has claimed to tyrannize his subjects for the greater good. Hitler claimed to have the best interests of the German people at heart, surely you won't say he murdered out of compassion. The socialists and the Satanists claimed to have the best interests of the people at heart, did they? Barrack Obama and many politicians today make the same claims for the people and I don't believe it. I don't care if they are dupes of evil, their actions are evil; and by their fruits I judge them.

Nope, you are not correct. Evil masquerades as goodness in many many people, especially those on the left. Obama and his ilk have been brainwashed in the mind controlling institutes called present day colleges and to see that force of evil working in their minds actually helps a lot in standing boldly against them. It is resentment for people that makes us ineffective, but when we can really see evil working in their minds, we want to actually fight them to free them too, if at all possible!
I was once told by a reverend that this type of thinking will make me venerable to the left, but he could not see for some reasons of hardness, that it is actually very much the opposite. Remember, Jesus said to love our enemies, and it is love to see them also as victims to some degree of evil spirits. That does not let them of the hook, as we ALL have moments of awakening that could lead us to salvation. So let's help be those moments in people’s lives, even leftist types. There are many of them that have converted to conservatism.
And yes, to some degree Hitler had a grand motive of a thousand years of glory. He was totally possessed by evil...a sociopath type that took pleasure also out of having power over people.

It, the evil, wants us to be stressed and constantly irritated and haranguing about them, just like Sean often does. It wants us away from our very real and bright ideas. Walter Wiliams is a great example of a good talk show host who does not get so off point and articulates the brightness of the right so well and gracefully.
I think you are being really defensive. Our side needs real corrections to at times!

ok, well I see some do need it. And if we are not humble to take correction, then we become rather ineffective in our very real battle.

I have been treated as the enemy by some for my persistent views on this real hardness that exists as a result of some right wing leaders falling into the irritable mode trap, but I don’t care. I will keep it up as I see fit, as well as being honest about the socialist destruction of our once free nation. We are almost gone, but I know we will make it. May take Jesus to return, I do not know.
