I adopted a 13 year old Beagle last year, that through the good of so many, ended up in CT and in my home. I am certain he comes from Kentucky, and that he was set to die — and that he is only with me today through the good grace of God and rescue volunteers. Thank you to all out there who do so much, this is a heart-warming story that I am sure I will read more than once!

May God bless you for what you’ve done.

I guess I’m patting myself on the back but it’s my policy too to adopt only old dogs. I feel so sorry for them since it seems that most folks go for the puppies and young dogs and the old fellows are behind, usually in a small space until they die.

One thing that can be said for old dogs: you know what you’re getting. With puppies you have to wait.

Bless for opening up your heart to a critter who was in need. :)
