Owners of small service businesses give California an F grade for business friendliness, according to an online survey by Thumbtack.com, a website for service companies. It is the second survey in a week that gives the Golden State black marks by business owners. Chief Executive magazine recently released its annual survey of Best and Worst States for business, which ranked California 50th for the eighth straight year.

Yep, we are sooo F’d.
CA is a failed state on a lot of fronts.
And, damn right its politicians don’t care... nor do enough voters out there, either.
Meanwhile California gets an A for being friendly to single parents by giving them government handouts. Sometimes an F isn’t a bad thing.
Meanwhile, the socialists are happy that their design is working so well in CA and IL.
Hell, the communists would like to see California ban all business.
This is only because the grading is so unfair. When fair standards are applied, like, mandates to recycle, use green energy, submit environmental impact statements, and so forth, CA comes out on top. You know, sort of like how the Brady Campaign judges states by their reasonable, sensible gun laws - making Washington, D.C. come out on top year after year for its sensible policies. /liberal
My wife & I just gave 24k to the city for building permits to set up another. And even then they made us jump through hoops, spending 15-20k more on compliance issues.
Legal extortion.
But, who else will look out for the environment, the atmosphere, the snail darter, the spotted owl, the Preebles jumping mouse, the unions, their cousins, and the democrat party, generally?
“We don't care about you and your problems................” as my local mayor so eloquently said.
Good point, coloradan! I wonder how twisted the media pretzel would be if they came up with these lists. Let’s work on!
Amazing God-given bounty, pissed away by Communist bureaucrats.

Wow. You must be putting up an enormous building!
You want to see real greed look no farther than city hall.
