Yes, we have hurricanes every week from June until November, the Swamp People vacation here when alligator season is closed, the local rednecks have 4 wheel drive pulling contests on the beach every Saturday and Sunday, all of the food in restaurants and even in the grocery stores is deep fried, and there are no vegetables offered anywhere.
Don’t move here!
Life just sucks here <s
Moved here from N.C. and haven’t looked back.
BTW, I’m proud to be able to call that a picture of my office.
I teach scuba and run my own fishing and diving charter boat.
To be honest, I’m too tired and too lazy, and my posting skills suck, but Yosemitest posted these links to me. Look at the one for Crestview. It has MLS listings for the area that were easy to quickly look at.
There’s always Crestview.

Check it out on mapquest.
And that strip of land is underwater and destroyed every time a hurricane roars through
We like to put our kayak in on the bay at the spot just north of where the buildings stop, next to the old wrecked piers. Great spot.
Living here has been awesome, too bad my husband’s job got Obamanized and we’re going to have to relocate somewhere else. Never thought I’dlike living in Florida but Okaloose is OK.
If you are really really lucky you give them all of your pay checks, your social security number, access to all your accounts, and your first and second born child and THEN you can have a small (700 square foot) condo in some run down dump of a ghetto.
Well I will be moving down south in a little over a year....
I want to be closer to my daughter. The only reason I am in California is because the work I do is in fact unique to the location. if you had the job I would much rather have worked there
Its 0bambi's algae....waiting to power your vehicle in the 22nd century.
The view to the North with Eagle Harbor! A bit lower might show where the ling are.

Wow ... I see so many good fishing spots
TT
Well no actually I was looking for something at a lower altitude. That is a great view of the southern most point in the Florida panhandle. Not too far and back to the east a bit is where the Empire Mica rests after being sunk by a German U-boat when it rounded the Cape outside the shoals back during the big one. You would not happen to have a shot of the Indian Pass Raw Bar would you?
Yup!

Leenie. Those are sand bars. You can step out of your boat and play in the ware. In some cases you can walk out to them from the shoreline. The sand is so white it looks like snow. We took Christmas photos there and everyone thought it was snow. Been there sine 1982. Haven’t blown away yet.Beats the heck out of California. And the people there is not as smart as those in California (sarc).Just better.
