I usually agreed with His High Holiness on any given issue, but, damn, he is sure unlikeable. But after all, he IS Mark Davis and you're not. Wouldn't want him over for dinner, I'll tell you that. Suppose he'll pop up quickly enough on air somewhere- if not his own show immediately, probably continue as a regular sub on Rush and other ntl syndicated shows.

BTW his successor, Ben Ferguson, looks like he's abt 17.

I think Cumulus has taken over a couple stations in DFW. There are quite a few changes in the radio market here.570 KLIF now plays promos that refer to it’s sister station WBAP.Several talk hosts and shows on 570 are now gone, Laura Ingraham is no longer on WBAP at night. IMO there is nothing worth listening to on DFW radio in the way of talk except Rush, Hannity, Levin and the over night( Midnight-5am) guys on WBAP.. Even Coast to Coast (former Art Bell) show is no longer in the DFW market.

When Davis emphasized a point he talked.......real.......slow. And that habit drove.......me.......nuts. I couldn’t stand him.

I will only listen to him to remind myself how utterly irritating it is to try to listen to him. Is it the way you can tell he just loves himself and the sound of his own voice?. . it literally makes me want to Barf!

Haveing listened to Davis in his early years at WBAP I’ve disliked him from the get go. He was for abortion claiming that Roe vs. Wade was “the law of the land” when no law ever passed the Legislature. Same for school prayer and gun control. have always turned him off since. A good move by WBAP, now Rush needs to dunp him.
