I believe she is due a partial refund.
I guess one could say she is a fallen woman.
You get can’t get more hang than hanging from a shoe.
April 28th, Tillamook, Experienced sky diver, Matt A. Gold from salt Lake City, fell to his death when his parachute failed to deploy. Jumped from a paramotor at 1500ft.
As soon as she saw the warranty, she would have worried.
Dying from a fall like that has to be one of the worst ways to die, assuming that you’re actually conscious while falling. To know that near-certain death is imminent, with few ways to avoid it, and to watch as the ground rises to meet your speeding body...does anyone know if people black out under such circumstances, or what other perceptions they feel?
The tandem pilot will never live this down, and will probably be sued into oblivion. But, it was his fault, he apparently did not pre flight her harness to make sure her legs were in the loops.
I have heard of tandem skydiving passengers also falling out of their harness. What a horrible way to go.
They do not black out, it is terror all the way to death.
At least with a skydiver who has a malfunctioning parachute they are busy trying to remedy the situation.
Well, Lou L, I believe that last thing that goes through their mind...is their a$$.
How do you slip out of that harness?
At opening shock, I felt the harness begin to slide away in one one thousandth of a second. I reflexedly extended my arms, catching ahold of the loop of rigging which normally encircles my legs. As the enormity of what just about killing me, I wasn't ready to land on the ground. My right ankle was just slightly inclined to midline. It snapped and broke. However, I consider my broken ankle an example of divine mercy to this very day.
best thing to do in that situation is to miss the ground

Well, the last thing to go through their mind is probably their anal orifice.
I shoulda read further.
Where did you hear that he jumped out of a powered paraglider?

More info here.”
I went to the link. The first line in the article reads:
“A hang-gliding instructor is accused of swallowing a memory card that may have recorded the lead-up to the moment a woman slipped to her death.”
Hmmm. My thought is to put him is a cell with a bucket for a toilet until it re-emerges. Feed him lots of fiber and this too shall pass.
