During Gingrich's speech today on the day of his suspension of his campaign, Gingrich raised and interesting issue about Yemen - saying that it, not Afghanistan, was the center of Al Qaeda.
According to some sources, the U.S. is supposedly conducting drone attacks in Yemen against Al Qaeda. But...
Would Romney favor sending in Seal team(s) into Yemen (or any other country for that matter in the ME, ally or not) to target high-value terrorists targets?
If so, why did Romney say on Aug 1, 2007 the following:
"I do not concur in the words of Barack Obama in a plan to enter an ally [Pakistan] of ours... I don't think those kinds of comments help in this effort to draw more friends to our effort."
This was in response to Obama saying:
"If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."
Romney further said that this comment from Obama was "ill-timed" and "ill-considered" and that we need to foster unity with our allies in contrast to Obama's statement.
Well, I've been called that.. I'm at a loss for why...
His ENTIRE FAMILY EN MASSE has avoided military service for over 100 years.
I think even the Kenyan Hussein Baraka has a brother in law who served.
Har!
I will go there and listen...I was emailed the other report, read it, and posted it here.
It is clear, IMHO, that Gingrich will support Romney after he gets to 1,144 in any case. That is what I will wait for. Because until then, he is not the nominee.
I, for one, am still awaiting evidence that Bin Laden was actually killed in that raid.
Here’s the bottom line, humblegunner; when you correct people’s grammar and spelling you begin to look like a pretentious jerk.
Obviously you understood that “Seals” was meant to be “SEALS”.
Man, too many people around here trying to prove how smart they are...
A fellow Freeper suggests you don't know what you're talking about and your best response is to claim Jim Robinson likes you better?
What Lassy seems to be unaware of is that I've been anti-Romney since before it was cool.
It serves to point out the frail arguments available to weak minds.
Perhaps Lassy will call me a gun-grabber next.
“STFU NOOB!”
I’d rather be a noob with something interesting to say than a seasoned veteran with stupid comments.
