'Forward' is Nearly Perfect Campaign Slogan for President Obama

COMMENTARY | President Barack Obama's campaign staff has released the president's new campaign slogan, according to the Associated Press. "Forward" will be the simple statement President Obama will wrap his campaign around. As someone who studies politics, I see it very fitting that the president would use this word as his slogan.

The goal of the new "Forward" slogan is twofold in that the president believes he will move the country forward and that there is still more work to do in the future. Oddly, he might not have had so much work to do in the future if he had not forced seven months of congressional debate over a health care package instead of working on the creation of jobs. When you add on the five months of debating over the failed stimulus package, we see how at least a year of President Obama's term was wasted.

The first four years of President Obama has already personified "Forward."

Instead of doing what he can to decrease the amount of debt the U.S. owes, he has acquired more debt so we can push our problems forward to another generation. We have the ability to move forward as a country through his infamous $800 billion loan from China, but we will be paying for it again in the future.

Hell, he can't even get the (electric) trains *built*, let alone make them run on time!

Cheers!

Can anyone photoshop this for me?

It's trivial. Take the EXACT PICTURE...and after the "OR" put an "E"; then between the final "R" and the "D" put the letters "NE".

FOREWARNED.

And suddenly the dark background and the diffuse lighting become rather macabre and menacing.

Cheers!

Good idea, but for me it would take a while. I will work on it, but on dial-up it takes time.
