Sierra Club executive: “You can’t poison it so you must use a natural predator. That natural predator is the Japanese Beetle.”
Japaneses beetle: “Wow, the leaves of flowering plants here in Michigan taste Soooooooo much better that that purple thing we are used to.”

LOL as far as I can tell the beetles won't touch the loosestrife but they sure do like my wisteria.
