The new issue [of Playboy] features an interview with [current Batman comics writer] Grant Morrison, talking superheroes.
This is the kind of thing he says
"Gayness is built into Batman. Im not using gay in the pejorative sense, but Batman is very, very gay. Theres just no denying it. Obviously as a fictional character hes intended to be heterosexual, but the basis of the whole concept is utterly gay. I think thats why people like it. All these women fancy him and they all wear fetish clothes and jump around rooftops to get to him. He doesnt carehes more interested in hanging out with the old guy and the kid."

Fantastic book.
The author wrote it as a counterpoint to “Starship Troopers” and did an excellent job. I wonder what Heinlein thought of it.
And remember the Founders with their powdered wigs? If the head is in drag the body must follow:)
Queer eye for the Bat Guy?
Otherwise,I am alway a little suspicious of men in leotards and capes.
Lets try this one
The left wants everyone to be gay because it makes them feel BETTER ABOUT THEIR PATHETIC LIFES for a short while.
Batman is a historical figure?
(I know what you meant, but still.)
“this new writer is obviously just fabulous”

I’ve read Grant Morrison’s stories since the early 2000’s so he’s NOT “new”, as he developed some good series such as Blackest Night with Green Lantern. The good part here is that DC and Marvel are down in sales for the past 5 years as the scans are easily available over the web and have been downloaded so almost no one buys the comics anymore. I just read mine over my girlfriend’s KIndle..
I’m an editor of a fansub group, including QC so heck yes, I know Bleach, DB etc. You can find my TL’s on the latest Zetman 4..
He is “Kain Blueriver” from the series Lost Universe. He is kinda like Gourry from Slayers but a LOT smarter :)
Lost Universe was written by the same writer who wrote the Slayers.
I recommend it if you like Science Fiction series.

At first I thought that was 0bama’s passport as a child.
I just did a google on "batman gay" and there are hundreds of original old comic book slides of the Batman and Robin characters from the 50 and 60's and there was a very strong gay undertone even back then...way beyond it being just innocent talk.
I’ve actually read quite a bit of Batman.
He’s got a thing for the chicks in black leather. Knocked up Ras Al Ghul’s daughter. Off-and-on with Catwoman ... controversy in one recent issue when they had sex in the comic book.
“Gay” may be in Morrison’s interpretation ... though I never gathered that. Its certainly not in Bob Kane’s, or Frank Miller’s, or Scott Snyder’s, or Jeph Loeb’s.
Pretty sure Grant Morrison is a gay guy.

Mentally ill sex perverts have infiltrated comics big time. Even "Archie" has fags in it now.
Things from 1930s culture that certainly didn't appear homosexual to people at the time -- if they even had concepts of "gay" or "homosexual" -- get reinterpreted by our contemporaries and turned into things they weren't. Start with the sculptures at Rockefeller Center and the New York World's fair and move on from there.
But 60s Adam West/Burt Ward Batman and Robin were so "campy" that it's hard not to find a gay subtext in their shows. Maybe West always seemed to be out of breath because he was always aroused.
So what’s next? Is Superman a tranny??
IIRC, Superman renounced his US citizen status for “citizen of the world” or some such PC nonsense.
CBS did a Batman (Adam West, Burt Ward) reunion some years ago. Burt Ward was sort of narrating and said as much. It was actually kind of nostalgic. I always had a thing for Julie Newmar. Anyway, if you want to laugh (or be shocked), check out superdickery.com . This gay thing with our superheroes has been going on for 70+ years.
“hes more interested in hanging out with the old guy and the kid.””
Hmmmmmmmmmm...using that same argument...does that mean Batman is also a pedophile?
