An everyday fourth-grade reading class in New Jersey was interrupted on Monday by a real-life fairy tale ending.
Ten-year-old Celine Gonzalez and her school-mates were working on a class assignment when her dad made a surprise visit, having just returned from a seven-month posting in Afghanistan.

I remember when I came back from Desert Storm. My 4 year old daughter put a two arm lock around my neck for hours !

Last deployment I returned from, my son-in-law was rotating out. We passed with a brief hug in the airport, and my daughter told me as she took me home that I'd have to pay the airport toll. They get so cynical when they have done their own deployments. ;)
