Why? There is nothing wrong with reality. Women are often attracted to money. Do we hate ourselves? No! haha. :)

I do hope you take my suggestion to heart in post #8. These sort of relationships can benefit both parties. Not just you and not just her. if there is a mutual attraction there is a reason. It may be a multitude of things on her end. It is just from my experience I had some clear bottom lines that were true for me over time regarding the relationship. Also he was very jealous of men my age and often felt inadequate about our age difference whereas I did not. He was aging though and I was not so I could not understand his jealousy and his self consciousness. Now of course that I am in my mid forties I see what was happening for him. He became very violent when I left when I grew up. Sadly he was obsessed.

You need to guard this within yourself as well and realize one day she too will be older and aging. She will not be forever young and your fantasies need to be told this every once in awhile when your obsession for the youthful female take you over. They will all be older and aged one day.

I retired in 2010 and make more money now than when I worked, for various reasons. I have been divorced twice (they were so glad to get rid of me I never paid a cent in alimony). Since retirement I have dated quite a bit and recently met a 35 year old woman who I realized liked the money I spent on her, for fun. The other night she said the 27 year difference in our ages made no difference to her, could she move in with me so we could be together more? I quietly sipped my drink, set it down and looked her straight in the eye and softly said “ It would cut into my deep sea fishing trips too much.”

I think I'm older than you. As you get to be my age, you find yourself regretting the things you didn't do, far more than the things you did.

If you and she are happy together, enjoy the ride. Just be careful that she isn't after cash more than your studly good looks.

Men are designed to be attracted to healthy, fit women in their prime child-bearing years, which happens to be 18 thru 30. Women in this age range can give them children, and are young enough to deal with raising them.

Women are designed to be attracted to men who display competence and fitness, because women who are pregnant or who have young children need somebody to protect them and provide for them. Somewhat older men are acceptable because, in primitive times, a man who has managed to survive into mature adulthood is unlikely to be a complete ditz.
