The Blackhawks were robbed, of what should have been called, a 10 minute major penalty....Which would have had the Hawks on a powerplay for 10 minutes....The hawks could have scored a goal or two or three during that powerplay that never happened because the refs and linemen misses the call. One, Torres skates left the ice and...two, Torres hit Hossa in the head. During the first game the one of the Hawk players (Shaw) hit the Phoenix goalie in the head and receives a game misconduct plus a 10 minute major penalty, which one goal was scored, and was suspended for three games. The refs and linesmen should all be fined and suspended for missing that call. Did I mention I'm from Chicago.

I don't know if I've ever seen a "10 minute major penalty" in the NHL. I would think you'd have to kill someone on the ice to get that.

A five-minute major and a match penalty for intent to injure is about the most serious penalty a referee would assess in response to an offense on the ice.
