Love my full-size M&P 9mm. Already have a Kahr for carry, but was sill too large so I’m carrying my Ruger LCP full time.

But it looks like another winner from S&W.

I got a Ruger SR9. It's only 1.27" wide and holds 17 in the magazine.

I really like it. One inch wide grip on the S&W seems like it would beat your hand up.

This looks like a sweet pistol.

If anyone chooses it, factory ammo will not be as efficient as rolling your own. The barrel, at 2.5in is too short for anything but the fastest powder and lightest bullets.

I recommend the .40 with the 150gr Nosler HP backed by 8 grains of Hodgdon Longshot.

Very hot load, not for plinking. It will wear out your pistol...but should still give you about 1050-1100fps for that 150gr .40 out of that 2.5in barrel.

Adequate. If you can hang on for follow-up shots.

My only striker fired gun is a Taurus PT 745 Millenium Pro. It shoots fine, carries/conceals well, and holds seven (6+1) rounds of .45 ACP. Very important to me that it has a positive thumb safety - just like every other semi-auto pistol I own.
