RIVERVIEW, Fla. - An adult bobcat caused quite a scene around 8:30 Thursday morning on US 301 just south of Symmes Rd. in Riverview.
A 911 took a call from a motorist.
"People are trying to catch a bobcat in the median. A bobcat? Yea, there's a bobcat and everybody's getting out of their cars and they're trying to catch this cat," said the unidentified female driver.

Nothing less than a commercial tiller would take that thing out. Run over it, it wraps around your axle and flips you. Shoot it, you just make it mad and it swallows you.
Nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure.

I like your idea to nuke it from orbit, better.

Viral photo purports to show a very, very large snake spotted near Delray, Florida, the Morganza Spillway near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or Branxton, NSW, Australia (depending on version) [I don't know]

“Happened to a friend of mine, who stopped to help an injured animal. Wild animals bite when wounded. Don’t do what this woman did, or face rabies treatment as a precaution, as my friend did.”
Decades ago I saw a motorcyclist down who was hurting. There was a cop there and all he could do was say “keep your hands off of me, pig”. I just felt sorry for her - she’s trying to comfort the idiot, and has to deal with that.

While their intentions were noble....I carry a muzzle in my car for my own DOGS who know me and love me and worship the ground...
...you know. :)
Wounded animals can bite. WILD wounded animals...more ‘n likely WILL bite. And then some.
