The church that teaches that Jesus is God is the apostate church and to go along with that throne they put him on is the inability for the average seeker to attain the patience that he showed us to have and even to people not to sin anymore. err... the Church that teaches that Jesus is God is the Church of the Apostles, the Church that Jesus Christ founded and the Holy Spirit blest on the day of Pentecost. It has always been believed in the Apostolic faith that Jesus Christ is/was God and Man -- fully God as He could do only what God could and fully Man as God the father did not die on the Cross.

We are to be like Him in the sense of imitation. We can never reach that ideal, but we can strive to imitate as best as we can.
