Amanda Bynes had her own TV show when she was a kid, it was called "The Amanda Show", after growing to old for that show(about 15 or so)she made a few(not many)movies. She was very well liked at one time but her movies didn't seem to do as well as her TV show had done. She is actually more of a Comedian than an actress. I am guessing the fact that her career is not doing well has led her into drinking and, possibly, drugs. OTH, it could just be the normal, "She made too much money as a youth and is just spoiled rotten and thinks the world owes her a living" syndrome.
