The Single Greatest Threat To America
YouTube ^ | May 24, 2010 | Dennis Prager

Posted on 04/02/2012 2:22:32 PM PDT by Carriage Hill

Dennis Prager, Gov Sarah Palin and Hugh Hewitt at a televised forum, at University of Denver, on "The Greatest Threat To America". Prager's answer isn't what you'd expect. Apparently Gov Palin and Mr Hewitt have already spoken. It's a very good 8:54 clip, which a Conservative friend sent to me.

Here's another YouTube clip of Prager and Hewitt discussing their UofD forum with Gov Palin, where she speaks:

Sorry, my FRiend, I can’t do that. While I agree with you that “it smells like a foot”, when I get into a fight for my country’s, family’s and my life, I will stay in it until it’s finished. I refuse to quit on this Nov’s GE, the most important election in our nation’s collective history.

I’ll keep deliberately trying to get the candidate I want (Palin/Gingrich or Gingrich/Palin) into the WH, but in the end, will vote for anyone except the current POS in the WC. Anyone but him. I hope someone else, who truly knows what’s really at stake in this GE, will take your warmed-up, empty chair and help me with the fight ahead. My best to you, sir.

thank you for the discourse. my position is that the dofferences between romney and obama are relatively trivial, and that romney would do as much damage as obama would, so why participate in my own persecution?
cheers! and God bless!

You’re welcome, camle, and thank you for the discussion. You’ve opened my eyes to several salient points to think about.

Net net: Romney’s OUR liberal, while 0bummer’s THEIR liberal. That’s what it boils down to. And like I previously said, I’d vote for a “orange juice can”, and I think we can “deal with OUR can”, later, after we get rid of THEIR liberal.

Best to you, camle.

The rise of any Socialism in America traces back to women voting.

Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:

Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.

Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.

BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their “fair” share of the American Dream.

What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?

As soon as I’m financially able, I will do it, G. Right now, things are very tight until the Family Farm Business Sale is completed.

The public (WVa-Ill) schools I went to in the 50s & early-60s were good, but they’ve gone to hell, since. The fruits of socialism therein today are what we’re now reaping. You’re 100% right.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Obaminationcare won't be so bad at first. Why? Because of the values of the doctors, nurses, and administrators trained in the old system. It will take a generation or two before the worst horrors of socialized medicine is evident.

Well...The same is true with modern socialist-entitlement and single-payer K-12 schooling. In the 50s and 60s the teachers were still close enough to those who literally broke the sod in this nation. For instance, my father ( born 1913) knew well, loved dearly, and lived in the same house with his Civil War veteran grandfather and his grandmother.

One more thing:

In a generation or two all the arguments used today to defend government schooling will be used to defend socialized medicine. All the suggestion used for reforming government schooling will be used as suggestions to reform socialized medicine.

People will say, “ The hospitals and clinics in the 2020’s were good.” ( Implying that if we could just go back to that magical age, then the medical system would be reformed.)

What the population will fail to understand is that the fundamental problem with Obamination Care ( and government K-12 schooling) will be **socialism**! Socialism can NOT be reformed. It must be abolished.

Want to have good, safe, orderly schools? Answer: Begin the process of privatization.

” - - - when you can” is THE key.

Otherwise you will be spending money that you do not have, just like our damned Federal Government who does not understand what radio announcer Paul Harvey used to say:

“WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.”
