I saw Three Dog Night tonight and they were AWESOME. Those old timers can still rock. I just wish they did Eli. They did not.

When I saw them it was in a closed stadium in Denver. Don’t remember the name of the place, but it wasn’t Red Rocks.

Great thread! While I’ve never seen Three Dog Night in concert, many have told me (back in the 70s) they really put on a good show.

It was 40-41 years ago. Details fade with time, LOL.

We had some damn good music in the 70s. We had people who could sing and play their own instruments. Bands like, CCR, Stepinwolf, Doobie Brothers, Rare EarthCoincidentally, I was just listening to CCR, the Doobie Bros, Rare Earth ...and Three Dog Night in the car this morning on the way home from work.

Was it actually 3 Dog NIght or just one of the band members? Chuck Negron is touring with Blood Sweat and Tears and will appear in Peachtree City, GA this Summer. Are you sure it wasn’t them you saw? Just asking.

Not in anyway similar to Three Dog Night or the others (although I never cared for the Doobie Brothers), RUSH is coming out with a new album this spring, had a very successful tour last summer (no casinos!), and some say they are better than ever. (In some respects that may be true).
