Have blacks in America achieved the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and become truly Free at Last? This is the question recently tackled in the brave and powerful documentary Runaway Slave a new film which exposes the economic and social enslavement of the black community to the progressive policies of the US Government.
Rev. C. L. Bryant hosts the movie revealing the new underground railroad and the mindset of a cultural acceptance of entitlements and big government. Bryants own life provides unique insights into the racial and political issues of the day. A former Chapter President of the Garland, Texas NAACP, former democratic activist, and pastor; C. L. had a front row seat to the civil rights movement in the south. There is a 50-year-old lie that has caused an entire people to become harlots to the political idea that government knows what is best. says Bryant.
Citing statistics that demonstrate increasingly high rates of abortion, crime, unemployment and single parent households in the black community, the film features interviews with politicians and everyday Americans, along with images from national events in Washington, D.C.
Its underlying theme asks the questions: What does the black community have to show for its 95% support of the Democratic Party? Is it truly free at last?
Become like them? what exactly do you propose... what needs to happen in my opinion is to stand for law and order and an orderly pursuit of justice. That may seem unpopular on all sides, but it is what must take place. We don’t give up on justice being blind, no matter the brow beating the leftists lay on us... we resist to bend toward vigilante justice and we stand our ground against black contempt for America... if they resort to burning things down, THEN, we have a God given right to protect and defend our liberties and to squelch out of control despots, fascists and anarchists.
No need to read into what I say here.
We need to be EVERY bit as vocal, show EVERY bit as much outrage whenever there is yet another (inevitable) black-on-white crime that normally goes ignored by the MSM and the general populace.
They need to know the stove top has gotten much, much hotter...so it should be approached more gingerly.
Now....have a problem with that?
I think we’er on the same team... stand our ground we will!!!
There ya go! :)
Thanks Elle, and thank EVERYONE for this great thread & movie!
Whites are sick and tired of being told to feel guilty.
The local police have investigated and did not arrest Mr. Zimmerman. Now the FBI and Dept. of Justice are investigating. A grand jury is investigating. Trayvon is Obama’s son; Santorum says Zimmerman did it; we only see pics of Mr. Zimmerman in the orange jumpsuit; Traylon is always 13 years old and looks innocent. The AG has “his’ people and they are not white or hispanic. Think Zimmerman will walk?
That’s the book that Booker T. Washington quote came from.
Another great book that was a real eye opener is: Setting the record straight: American history in Black & White by David Barton.
The Democrats were clearly the pro-slavery party and following the Civil War fought against giving former slaves any civil rights and did everything they could to keep blacks out of the political process. They formed the Klu Klux Klan, to intimidate anyone black or white from voting for pro-civil rights Republicans in southern elections. And we can argue that the Democrats still have Blacks in a form of slavery, by twisting their knowledge of history by pretty much erasing history older than than MLK. And their new slave master is keeping’s them in Want, and the Government being the provider.
I heard a black lady call into Liberal Talk radio the other day saying Republicans have been racist going back centuries, and that the only good Republican was Lincoln. After reading the book, I was not angry with her, my heart actually wept for her and those who have been brainwashed, The word Cain used, and was chastised for.
“Sadly, I am afraid Dr. King Jr. must be doing brake dancing in his grave seeing what has become of the great civil rights movement.”
It is doing exactly as he wanted. He was all for such nonsense.
