Because the reason for the article is to validate the teacher/state rep in NC replacing a parent supplied lunch with an FDA approved one.

This article is trying to come up with a better chicken nugget, implying that the ones served at schools aren't very good to begin with. Have you ever eaten a "Chicken McLugnut?" They're nasty! But kids love them. Nowhere in the article by "Bon Apatite Magazine" is the NC incident mentioned... And what about the "Tater-Tot Makeover" that's linked there? I don't recall any "tater-tot" incidents in the news recently.

Yes the incident isn't mentioned but I'll bet it will be referenced in the MSM later as proof the substituted nuggets in NC were better than what the parents supplied.

Whether the Bon Apatite Magazine nugget is better or not is moot. It probably is, but that what the NC schools were supplying?
