This is a non-story. There are plenty of drunks. There are plenty of unhappy families.
They don't deserve to be national news.
It's not my job to fix the problem.
Our government is $15T in debt because we keep getting outraged by non-stories and we keep thinking that "somebody should do something".
It's all a farce, and this story (and Trayvon Martin) are prime examples of how stpid stuff gets hyped for the masses.
I don’t care what the headline writer chose to make the issue. The police arrested the mother because she left bruises and scratches on her son after a fight. She admitted this to the officers wen questioned. The hype comes in making light of people doing illegal things( as well as immoral). Treat it as a joke if you wish. As to the Martin/Zimmerman case, time will tell. It sounds like self-defense to me and the race hustlers are trying their damnedest to make it something else.
Until we as a people get our own houses in order the rest of society will continue to look like this
